As Senior Director, Sustainability for Marsh McLennan Shea Jameel leads the Company’s sustainability initiatives and drive progress against ESG goals and strategy. She has over ten years of experience leading and implementing sustainability programs at F500 organizations across a variety of industries, including real estate, hospitality and consumer packaged goods. Most recently, Shea was Director of Sustainability at the Estee Lauder Companies where she was responsible for operationalizing sustainability across the enterprise. In her role, she led initiatives to embed sustainability across the company’s highest-growth channels and newly acquired brands, and oversaw initiatives to drive progress against emissions, packaging and other sustainability goals. Prior to the Estee Lauder Companies, she led ESG for Welltower, a health-care real estate investment trust. In this role, she built the Company’s first ESG strategy, led efforts to improve ESG ratings and rankings and guided Welltower to being recognized as an ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year for multiple years.
Shea holds a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from Suffolk University, a M.S. in Environmental Science and Management from Sacred Heart University and is a LEED Accredited Professional. She is an active member of her local community’s sustainability advisory board and in industry sustainability organizations.
